| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 19, 2007 Had this beer on 9/30/1998. Color is a rich amber with good carbonation and head. Aroma has a nice hop scent with light malt back tones. Taste is crisp and nice. It starts with a light bubbly body that goes down crisp and refreshing. The finish is also crisp with a fresh feel, lightly bitter and a nice light hop flavor. Its a well balanced brew with a nice fresh taste. Also it fits what a good Fall brew should be and this one would be wonderful on a cool Fall afternoon. tennisjoel (951), Shakopee, Minnesota, USA

Cloudy orange red color with particles floating within. Lacing is good. Taste is bready with sweet caramel tones. Almost a peppery finish. I like the malty flavor, and the hoppy finish. Pretty decent. PhillyBeer2112 (2089), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Aug 30, 2003 A fairly nice hoppy amber ale. Pure amber color with a medium creamy head and heavy lacing. Aroma is hoppy and citric with lemon rind, some grapefruit. Flavor is hoppy and moderate caramel malting with biscuity flavors, tingly resiny mouthfeel. Fresh hop aromatics are what make this beer. If they've faded with age, don't expect much else. MaxPower (961), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Fresh fruity aromas, malty, nutty, caramel flavors. Medium bodied with a full and creamy mouthfeel, finishes clean. A very nice amber, very drinkable, I wish I had bought another bottle.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2005 Decent sized head of off-white bubbles. Sticky on top and leaves a stickly lacing on the inside of the glass. Minimal carbonation. Malty aroma with a bit of spices. Slightly sweet with a little bit of floral hops. Color ia a dark amber. Soft and thicker than expected in the mouth. Bready malts with a little more sweetness. Little hops presence at the finish. A very good amber ale that has lots of high points. Thanks to Matta for this one. waveman352 (178), Walden, New York, USA
