Nice citrusy zest aroma, a bit grassy sweet. Flavor is bitter grapefruit, wet. Not the delicious red grapefruit, just good ole juicy citrus. Refreshing. drjay44 (789), Salida, Colorado, USA

I think it may have been the lack of back up finish, but I am not sure. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 28, 2008 V - cloudy dark orange with an enthusiastic head that leaves a clingy lace behind
A - pine, juniper and some more pine. Some alcohol and gin like qualities as well.
T - surprisingly mild hop taste, there’s actually not much ere. I know it’s not an IPA, but you cannot help but expect it to be after the aroma. As a pale ale, it’s solid enough.
P - After taste is a little unappealing with watery elements that just lack a beer quality. I was expecting an IPA level of hops and was disappointed with the results. It also had a watery texture that was hard to get past. Not bad, but certainly not a beer I will seek out again.
