Jun 1, 2008 Thich head. Amber color and slightly cloudy. Nose is delicious with piney hops. Taste is very malty with perfect hop flavoring. the finish is sorta dry but well balanced. I grabbed this as a impulse buy not expecting much from it; it was pleasantly suprised how good this beer is.

May 30, 2008 Bottle. 12 fl. oz. Dark amber color with a nice thick, frothy, white head with excellent lacing and longevity. Piney, hoppy aroma. The body is a little thin and it finishes pretty dry. The flavor is a nice balance of malty sweet caramel and bitter, grassy, piney hops. A solid pale ale.

May 25, 2008 Sweet caramel resin nose, with fresh floral notes. Orangy amber with slight haze and medium head. Perfect sweet malt and hop bitterness, with hop aromas adding a nice complement. Bubbly carbonation with a medium to full mouth feel. Long smooth delicate finish. Easy drinking, nice balance of piney and floral hops creating a subtly complex beer.

May 25, 2008 This is a surprisingly quality beer! I was expecting something more along the lines of Purple Haze, a marketing scam for hippies and Hendrix fans. I do say though - the thing with this beer is that it is has both style and substance. I don’t exactly like the style it has, but it is a beautiful beer when you hold it up to the light. Great cloudy colour with nice head. It is hoppy, but lighter than many IPAs (I am not a fan of IPAs but I do like this APA). On the whole, really impressed by this APA.

May 24, 2008 Updated: Jul 21, 2008I had heard the buzz about this for a long time but it was always out of stock at John’s Grocery (I guess which added to the hype). It’s a solid beer, but I don’t think it lives up to the hype. Lots of grassy hop flavor to it, with a dry hoppy finish; fairly standard IPA style.

May 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color wth a thin tan head. Aroma of citrus and hops. The taste of hops with a light malt undertone. Has a dry crisp clean finish.
