Carbonated/crispy flavor with balance of hops and some citrus. The downfall of this beer is the metallic aftertaste. There is bitter hops and then aluminum can aftertaste. bryandhargrave (165), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Pours dark copper and cloudy. Head is off-white and suprisingly persistent.
Aroma is of hops, grapefruit, and pine, strongly tilted toward the hops.
Crisp on the tongue, sweet caramel comes through. Hops are present, but do not quite deliver on the promise the nose suggested. A bit of a disappointment to the hophead in me, but makes for a more drinkable ale.
All in all a surprisingly good beer. CaptBier (303), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 1, 2008 Draft at Flying Saucer. A hazy dark amber beer with a white head. The aroma is crazily hoppy combined with notes of grass and oil. The flavor is surprisingly light hoppy - compared to the aroma, and it is also slightly sweet and the body is thin. fg8080 (37), San Diego, California, USA

More of a mallty taste with some grapefruit hops. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Darn good - but not enough flavor to be excellent phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Aroma is piney, floral and grapefruit citrusy character. Mouthfeel is very full, well carbonated, and not too hoppy but crisp, citrus fruit flavor.
