Aroma is piney, floral and grapefruit citrusy character. Mouthfeel is very full, well carbonated, and not too hoppy but crisp, citrus fruit flavor. rustychiles (1071), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 16, 2008 Pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Big hop aroma on this one. Very smooth, nice desirable hop flavor that is bitter yet balanced out with a little malt sweetness. You usually only find this hop flavor in bigger beers, but in this case with the dry hopping it turned out really well at a much more drinkable and session friendly alcohol level. I’d like another please. radagast83 (1317), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Apr 9, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a copper color. Aroma is quite hoppy - a hoppy aroma that I figured meant it was a IPA (the site lists it as an APA - bo no matter). The flavor is nothing short of fantastic. It has an excellent dry hop flavor, and is one of the better beers I’ve had in quite some time to bring in the spring (and summer) seasons. Very mild (e.g. smooth), with a flavor that is good even only slightly "chilled" straight off the shelf - a feat that doesn’t always work out with many beers. changeup45 (807), Orlando, Florida, USA

The beer pours a nice copper, cloudy (yes, hazy) color with a nice light off-white head. Tasty dry hoppy bitter bite. Very solid and easy to drink. There’s a good amount of flavor here for a Pale Ale. Give it a try! phaiel (2), USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 8, 2008 very refreshing. smells hoppy like an IPA but more of a APA type taste. great and refereshing though. i would love this on a hot summer day! great beer dkachur (2437), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 6, 2008 Bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Dark, yellow-orange color. Aroma is strongly pine hops. Hops are a bit weak in the taste. Malt does not balance well leading to a muddled vibe. Medium bodied. scooterbub (393), Lander, Wyoming, USA

Was a little bit of sediment on the bottom, but it was easy to get out. Aroma and taste is of pine, grapefruit and hops. Has a good aftertaste. On the bitter and dry side, but for me this is alright. Overall, this an exceptional brew as it is rather tasty, smooth, refreshing and goes down easy. jrmac (213), USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Not bad, but to me just ordinary. Hops are present on the nose and the palate. Taste is not as bitter as I would have guessed. Fruity in the background.
