355 ml bottle. Hazy dark golden colour. Tall off-white head that clings to the glass. Metallic light fruity hop aroma. Grassy finish. High carbonation. Nice rounded maltiness. Bold hop flavours.

Bottle. Poured deep amber with a thin white head. Lekker hoppy aroma with a floral not. Medium malt body with more hoppiness. Moderate bitter ifinish. This might be another Cape Ale, Midway between a Pale and an IPA

This beer is definitely best when served cold. There aren’t a lot of dry hopped beers on the market that are successful. This beer has a very light body, when cold is very refreshing, and leaves you with a nice, not too bitter finish.

long lasting head when you pour. light amber color. you can certainly taste the hops in this one. taste is of bitter hops and citrus. finish is smooth, but there is too much carbonation in this beer. Not one that I would purchase again.

12 oz. Bottle, at the new Two Brothers brew pub. This is the sign of a true RateBeer geek. I go into a brand new brewpub for a respected craft brewer and order a bottle from the cooler because I’ve already rated all their tap offerings. But this is pretty good. Body is just slightly hazy in a bright copper brown with a bubbly IPA head. Our favorite "C" type hop smell is there, still nice and fresh. Hops are right up front in the taste: citrus and grass with pine boughs behind it. Malts are kind of creamy. Impression of bitter coffee grounds toward the middle. But the big hop nose stays all the way through. Unusual to find such hoppiness in a 12 oz bottle of "normal strength" beer.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. This is the 3rd separate time I’ve had this and only the first time was I blown away by the aroma. Not sure what the deal is. The nose is still good with a floral, citrus/melon character. I seem to remember something more intense. Anyway, the flavor is very crisp and very clean. It’s straight up APA with a pleasing level of caramel sweetness, a fairly dry lemony finish, and a decent amount of citrus hoppiness throughout. There is a slight soured fruit thing going on that is barely noticed. This is a fairly competent pale ale, though on the lighter side.

Okay, finally got another good bottle of this. A 12 oz. from Bruisin Ales. Maybe this one is fresher, but the hop character is certainly much stronger than the past couple. The aroma is quite potent, lots of piney, herbal hops with juicy citrus. The mouthfeel is spritzy and medium light. This is quite a drinkable beer with a surprising level of hops for an APA. This is juicy and citrusy at first until a drying bitterness sets in. It reminds me of tea. This is one hell of a pale.

Pours a deep (kinda hazy) copper color, with a nice light tan head. Yep, the aroma is very nice---the smell of hops is very pronounced. Unfortunately, the great aroma raises the taste expectations a bit too high. The flavor lacks what the aroma seems to promise. A bit too thin for my tastes. Mild hop, slightly citrusy, with just a hint of light malts leading to an underwhelming albeit a slightly crisp finish

Nice cloudy amber color. Rather hoppy but still remains to be smooth with a slightly tangy aftertaste.
