Good hoppy taste with some bitter fruit I couldn’t quite pick out as well. It had a slight touch of sweet, but nothing like others have stated. I could see getting a six of this every so often. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Overly sweet flavor with too much carbonation. Cloudy amber with nice head. Flavor is not good. Canadianlush (169), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 31, 2007 Poured a hazy copper color with a respectable white flakey head. Dry hoppy and bitter with a hint of orange. It went down just fine. Well hopped but not overdone. Good balance. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 26, 2007 Dark amber pour with a hazy body, and thick medium beige head. Smell is sweet and hoppy/malt balance at first like a rich amber, but turns metallic after a bit. This bottle must be a little old. Needs a touch more malt in the taste, and the body is a bit thin. Slight metal and oxidation in the taste and it almost turns sour as it sits. Unbalanced and most likey unfresh. hayduke (1664), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 25, 2007 From a 12 oz bottle chilled to refrigerator temperature this poured a rich amber into a pint glass and raised a nice off-white head and lots of lacing. Great nose of floral and piney hops. Mouthfeel is lively on the palate and flavor is a little bit of citrus with the aforementioned flowers and pine. Nice bitter finish. Excellent APA. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 23, 2007 This beer was pretty good; I’d recommend it.
This beer pours a hazy amber with a nice ball-of-flax head on it that fades to a scummy protective coating. Aroma is fantastic - sweet, grassy, and extremely hoppy - I would buy deodorant in that smell. Flavor is also strong; grassy hoppiness up front followed by a big malty mouthfeel which gradually tails off and recedes pretty quickly. A very nice beer and reminds me of a bit of a pale imitation of some of our "big" midwestern IPAs like FFF, Bell’s, Dark Horse, Founders, etc, but still recommended. Aroma was piney and earthy hops. Flavor was sweet with malts and citrus hops and a mildly bitter finish. Pretty good brew.
