| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 6, 2007 12 oz bottle: Aroma is a nice floral hoppy aroma with a nice grapefruit overtone, spicy, and a lightly melding into other citrus fruits. Appearance is clear dark golden with an amber hue to this beer consisting of a large sized foamy head. Taste is a middle of the road hop flavor that really just leaves in the palate which makes it somewhat flavorful. Overall, a really good APA I like this one a lot. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 5, 2007 Pours a hazy deep orange copper with a massive khaki head with great retention and 3-dimensional lacing. The aroma is strong grapefruit citrus, candied orange peel, and fresh floral hops. The flavour is of ripe citrus fruit, sweet grain and bready, salty malts. The palate is thin and short lived and the aftertaste is a bit sour and mellow. The flavour is intensely hoppy but the palate duration is way to short. ksigty (107), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 2, 2007 12 oz bottle, poured in pint glass. Substantial white head, very pretty dark amber with moderate lacing no noticeable carbonation. Aromas of citrus, hops and malt. Very easy drinking beer, expected a strong bitter hop taste and was very surprised at how mellow it is. Aftertaste is pleasantly bitter and hoppy but not nearly as strong as I’d anticipated. Overall, nothing fantastic but a decent beer you could drink all night. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
