Leaves excellent lacing to the bottom, giving a great appearance. Citrus hops dominate the aroma, with a doughy / yeasty background. Initially, the flavor is a bit bitter, and leaves little sweetness to the finish. A really good beer that I’ll be buying plenty more of. modalnails (43), boulder, Colorado, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 14, 2007 Deep golden color. Good amount of hops in the aroma. The flavor is well balanced, although the hops push this toward being an IPA. I liked this a lot. thenick (746), North Bellmore, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 9, 2007 Bottle. Pours a brownish-red. Aroma is overhwhelmingly hoppy with a slight fruit characteristic as well. Flavor is very hoppy, but also subtle and smooth. A definite winner of a beer; I could drink this every day. beachultimate (5), Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 8, 2007 Poored a bottle of this beer into a glass. The aroma is slightly hoppy. Not over bearing. It has a nice head (small bubbles), hazy in apprerarance. Very nice flavor with a good hoppy after taste that does not linger too long. Very enjoyable! Can’t wait to try this beer on draft. scottmc (167), Lakewood, Colorado, USA

Fresh hoppy aroma when poured with a tinted head and the Crystal and Centennial hop blend that blows your mouth away. A great beer with an earthy and floral smell and taste. gws57 (1138), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA

Clear, medium orange pour with a very fruity hoppiness in the nose. Not overpowering in the taste but with some citrus, rose and smoke. This is a great example of the type. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 30, 2007 Had on draft. Poured a clear dark orange. Had a smell of hoppy grapefruit. Tasted of hops with a sweet malt in the background. I actually thought this was an IPA when I had it the hops were so prominent.
