May 3, 2007 12oz - Aroma of crisp pine and citrus hops, crystal and caramel malts. Pours copper with a medum sticky lasting head and great lacing. Flavor is malty first and quickly followed by a tart hop bite. A touch metallic. Palate is sticky and tart. A nice tasty brew.

May 2, 2007 On tap at the Mad Mex in Robinson. Aroma is a little hoppy and the pour is darker than your typical pale yellow american beer. Has an off white head that fades to tea like froth. Mild hop bitterness greets the tongue but this is interestingly tempered by a brown ale flavor that is somewhat like Fat Gary. Finish is not quite as oppresive as I imagined after the first taste. Overall a decent brew that is easy to drink. Has enough hop bite and personality to let you know this is a pale ale but it is not overwhelming. As good as or better than Erie’s Hard cock ale and better than other pale ales I’ve had such as Sly Fox Phoenix Pale Ale, Hereford & Hops Allegheny Pale Ale, Flying Dog Doggie Style Classic Pale Ale or JW Dundees American Pale Ale .

May 1, 2007 Light gold color with medium off white head and some lacing. Aroma and flavor were all typical, average pale ale. Nothing too exciting or bad. Hops were light and not overwhelming.

May 1, 2007 Bottle Poures a slightly hazy amber with a medium sized white head. Coarse spotty lacing Aroma was a nice balance of sweet malts and a little bittrer hoppiness. Citrusy mainly. Flavors were very similar. Very nice Pale Ale.

Apr 30, 2007 on tap @ papago...behind dogfish head 60 minute. typical ipa aroma with a bit more citrus. flavor is fruittier than i’m used to and the hops are not out of whack as most ipas tend to be. (definately lighter/waterier with more fruit than the dfh 60)

Apr 30, 2007 Fills the glass as a amber colored orange with large fluffy topping of foam. Has a mild aroma of hop and citrus twist to it. The flavor is subdued and very minor in keeping me intrested in my drink. Small background of hop, pine, bread, malt and leaves behind a dirty mouthfeel. Average APA.
