| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 24, 2009 Hazy dark orange. Large hop profile. Also some unexpected notes of chocolate. It’s faint if it’s truly there. Tastes of grapefruit and hops but has a fair amount of water. arminjewell (137), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Poured hazy yellow with very white head that laced well. Smelled of grapefruit and citrus, with little else. Tasts of nice floral and citrusy hops that fades to a nice bitter finish, but the overall amount of flavor is lacking. A solid pale ale. bluemooner (237), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 25, 2009 Orange-amber pour with a nice white head. The aroma of citrusy hops is a big leader that is followed by blah. It is neither great nor poor. It is an ok beer that doesn’t have a good malty backbone or aftertaste to go with the hop aroma. cexshun (80), Portage, Indiana, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 13, 2009 Pours an orange/amber. Huge creamy head even with a soft pour lingers with massive lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, but not much else. Flavor is watery. Very little hop bitterness. Respectable carbonation levels. Thin in the mouth. WTF? This is like the Coors Light of pale ales.
