| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 6, 2008 KSBF 08. Copper pour smallish head. Subdued citrusy flavor with a dry puckering hop finish. Just enough malt to balance it out. Pretty good beer...better than their DIPA. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 4, 2008 Bottle: Clear copper color with not much head. Powerful floral hop aroma with a hints of lemon as well. It was extremely pleasant. Good solid structure with a nice bitter aftertaste. So far, this is Boulder’s best I’ve had. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 4, 2008 Bottle. Amber bodied with a tall densely packed off-white head. Flowery hops and citrus notes but this also has some strong malt and grains in the aroma. Taste is bigger citrus fruits, strong hop bitterness, pine, caramel, chewy malts and some sweetness. Almost like a candied orange type flavor. Body is medium with a strong but creamy carbonation. Dry bodied as well. Finishes with more citrus notes, lighter pine, floral hops, sweet malts, caramel and more candied fruit. Neematoad (71), , Illinois, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 27, 2008 A nice copper color and small head. Pretty strong with a heavy malt taste. A little hint of a citrus taste and bitterness from the hops. Goes down kind of awkwardly. Not really my favorite IPA. fata2683 (881), Panama City, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 19, 2008 Bottle from world of beer in Tampa. Pours cloudy with a nice head. Again just like hazed and infused a wonderfull aroma of hops and citrus. This has a better flavor to me though more malt profile in the backround with the same fresh malt taste. Very good! brigg (216), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 11, 2008 (bottle) Cloudy, but vibrant copper body with a small, bubbly head. Aroma of floral hops - pine, grass - some citrus, malt. Bitter hop flavor, lots of grapefuit. Some herbal notes. Very full-bodied and carbonated, soft mouthfeel, slightly sticky. hogan873 (331), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 7, 2008 Amber body with a foamy white head that leaves nice lacing. Hoppy aroma with citrus and pine evident. Medium mouthfeel with appropriate carbonation for the style. The flavor is all hops and bite. There’s a hint of malt up front then the hops take over. Heavy on the grapefruit...a very bitter finish. Bitter, spicy aftertaste. Not my favorite style of beer, but I’ve had better IPAs.
