It’s a lighter golden amber with a decent head and good lacing. Upon first sip, It’s a lovely smokey start, with citrusy undertones. Lovely IPA and definitely lives up to the 90 overall score. popephred (193), Plainfield, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 31, 2008 Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a hazy golden yellow body, topped with a small white head which lingered. Strong hops notes to it’s aroma, coupled with the pine scent common with the style: very crisp. Strong bitterness, quickly countered by malty sweetness and full mouthfeel. Strong crisp hops aftertaste with a dry finish. This beer comes at you at different levels: Bitter then sweet, then back to bitter and dry. Nice and complex IPA Nate (2552), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 29, 2008 On tap at Md Mex, Robinson, fresh keg. Fresh hops, grassy and juicy, with resin and grapefruit. Great nose on this one. Hazy amber, with creamy off-white lacing head on top. Medium body with light-medium carbonation. Starts somewhat sweet, with caramel and pear, mild orange rind. Hops are tasty, giving a fresh juicy burst at first, then imparting a balanced mild bitterness in the finish. Pleasant dry-bitter after. Nice IPA. The boulder beer company is the best, and because I live so close to boulder the beer is alyaws fresh. The combo of hops make the beer like no other. Best when dranken out of a keg at a local bar or party. kiefdog (1609), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours a hazy light amber with a thick white, foamy head that settles slowly providing ample glass lacing. Aroma is sweet ripe apricot, grapefruit, hops, some sweet malty notes. Flavor is much of the same with slight sweet, malty notes at the beginning that transition to deeper ripe fruit, citrus, grapefruit, hops. Light to medium body with a slight bitter, hoppy finish.
