Taste was what you would expect from a good ipa. Citrusy sweet and bitter hops with a light malt background. Very nice brew. jcweaver (65), VA Beach, Virginia, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 11, 2008 Poured and beautiful golden color with a nice forthy white head that disapated quickly but left a nice lacing. The aroma was of hops with a slight floral hint. The flavor was perfectly hoppy. Has a good bit of carbonation, but not over carbonated. Overall just a great IPA. changeup45 (790), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 9, 2008 Updated: May 28, 2008This beer is solid, just like the Hazed and Infused I sampled from Boulder was. Orange color, moderate off white head that shrinks a bit but some remains creating really nice lacing. The aroma is hoppy with fruity notes and is pleasant. The flavor is a nice bitter hoppy bite with some tangy fruits. Hops are clearly the dominant flavor. Bitter and very dry finish. Dry, almost sour, hoppy aftertaste. Definitely a solid IPA and I would for sure get it again. CelticBrew (694), The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 11/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Pours light/medium golden from 12 oz bottle. Aroma of the usual, hops, light grapefruit, slight pine resins with a tinge of malts. Flavour is of floral pines with a slight malty finish. Bitter and watery at the same time, disappointing. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Pours a light copper with a foamy head. Aroma of pine and floral scents. Flavor is mild malts at first with a nice dose of hops to finish. Finishes rather bitter, but it is not a bitterness that sticks with you. dkachur (2369), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Pours a clear copper with lots of bubbles and a large frothy head. Floral and piney hop aroma. Just like the pale ale, the hops are a little less assertive than they should be. Ammonia/soap in the taste. Watery.
