Commercial Description:
Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.

Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.

Poured a light orange-copper with no head. Light aroma of citrus and hops. Sits watery and fizzy on the palate. This was okay but not great. Finish was a bit flat.

On tap at Philly Craft beer festival. Clear golden with a little white head. Malty grainy hoppy aroma. Citrusy grassy notes. Malty caramel hoppy flavor. Finish is bitter. Medium bodied. Sweet tasting. Decent beer. Drinkable.

12 oz bottle. This beer was pretty good, even though I am not a huge fan of the style. Pours a deep orange with some head. The Aroma is tangy and hoppy. The flavor was hop and citrus.

650ml bottle from Bev4less in Santee. Poured a slightly hazy copper color with a generous head. The aroma was a bit stale with weak citrus and hops. The flavor was similarly weak and unimpressive with watered down hops, hay, grass and something sweet. The mouthfeel was thin and watery. The finish was short with a lingering biter grittiness. Overall: This is a poor excuse of an IPA, perhaps I got an old bottle. I may attempt to re-rate in the future.

Pours orange-gold with a thick even head and leaves lace. Brightly aromatic with up front mango notes. Soft-textured palate is a oily/thick/slick but smooth. Flavors aren’t as fruity as the nose: some pine with esters and oils apparent. Amarillo is god.

12 oz bottle from West Lakeview Liqours, Chicago. Tried next to Mojo Rising. Light amber with medium white head. Citrus hop aroma with grain, sweet caramel, perfumy, well balanced but grain makes it a little off. Bitter citrus hop flavor, slight graininess, caramel, resiny pine. Medium body, light carbonation. A middle of the road American IPA.
