Smells really hoppy. No malts at all in this one. Sharp biting hoppy smell. I like it.
Nice biting hoppy taste with a good bitter aftertaste that hang around long after the finish. Very nice.
This is really good. Not the best IPA ever but still a really good beer. oakbluff (299), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 12, 2008 Pours a light orange/butterscotch with good clarity and low/medium head. Nose- tropical fruit and some sweetness from the malt. Taste- amarillo hops shine through lending a nice fruitiness but also a dry aspirin like quality which is not so good. Light caramel malts make their presence known as well. Dry, slightly sweet finish from the generous hoping. Moderate carbonation and good mouthfeel. Not too thick, but some oilyness. Good session IPA.

Light amber color, assertive hoppy nose, body somewhat on the light side, small lasting head with minimal lacing, fine hoppy flavor with good hop/malt balance, nice aftertaste. A quite decent IPA. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 7, 2008 12 oz. bottle at Old Chicago overland Park, KS. Pour is clear orange, with a one inch off white head. Aroma of some grapefruit rind and citrus. Taste has some initial bitterness with a more orange citrus in the body. There is some malt in the body, balancing things out. Decent enough beer, though nothing to get too terribly excited about. MrChris (110), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 6, 2008 Nice sweet hoppy nose. Amber orange in color with nice white head. Sweet hoppiness up front with a long medium bitter ending. Slightly frothy with an impressive warming that sticks around awhile. A smooth and solid IPA. Taste stays right to the bottom of the glass.
