Commercial Description:
Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.

Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.

12 oz. bottle, pours a dark golden opaque color with little head. Very pleasant hoppy aroma, with a very slight sweetness to it. Taste is a little bitter at first but gets better as the beer wears on. HIgh alcohol content is noticable when you drink it. Palate is average, but overall a great balance of flavor and a solid drink.

12oz bottle. Golden orange pour with a 1.5 finger thick white head. Doesn’t stay around for too long but does leave a smattering of bubbles and foam once it’s gone, and some nice sheet lacing. Nose of orange juice, orange pulp and flesh, grapefruit, caramel malt and some grassy/earthy notes as well. The orange juice notes really lend it a unique smell. Fore is almost a bit watery at first, with oranges, lemons, caramel and grass present. Back of the tongue is more sweet than spicy, a very nice lingering caramel and citrus sweetness. Medium astringency, mouthfeel and body appropriate to style. Slick palate from the hop resin. Long finish, begins bitter, then ends in a spicy sweet note with everything blending together. Nice, solid IPA.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright, slightly orangey-tinted golden with a short cap of white head. The nose picked up hefty doses of pine, grapefruit, and floral hoppage over a lovely caramel base. The flavor had enough caramel and toffee to support the thorough and strong bitterness (pine, grapefruit, and some oragey notes well-balanced in there).. pine bitterness was strong at the finish along with a rather generic sweetness. Medium-bodied with decent balance.. quite bitter and refreshing.

Courtesy SoLan. Pours a clear, light golden-amber body. A foamy white head shows good retention, settling slowly to a 2mm head. Random lacing flares decorate the glass. The aroma displays tangerine and grapefruit hops over a lightly toasted caramel malt base. The scent is not complex, but very light and inviting. The flavor follows suit, with sufficient citrus hops and lightly toasted caramel and grains providing for a well balanced, incredibly drinkable session IPA. Medium bodied and very smooth. Feels smaller than the 6.8% ABV indicates. Solid.

(Bottle) Pours a light amber color with a lasting white head. Aroma of citrus hops and light pine. Balanced flavor of hops and malts, with spicy hop being the dominant taste. Smooth, oily mouthfeel. Rather low carbonation. A good IPA for sure!

hazy orange straw with frothy off-white head. big hop aroma with orange and pineapple. mild malt backbone that gives way to spicy hops and nice tangy finish. medium-heavy bodied.

Nice aroma and full, hoppy flavor. Hints of oranges and grass. Tingly finish and pleasant aftertaste. This is a nicely balanced IPA! Maybe Coors is not what it used to be, but with beers like this available, there is no need to give up on Colorado brewing yet.
