Oct 7, 2009 Bottle. Pours an opaque honey color with a medium white head. Aroma of pine and hops on the nose. Similar taste w/ maybe a hint of citrus. Fairly bitter. Medium bodied, goes down pretty easy. Not bad.

Sep 29, 2009 22 oz bottle enjoyed in Estes Park, CO. Orange amber with a strong, fluffy head. Nose is light pine and grapefruit. Taste is lightly hoppy and yeast. Taste is not as good as aroma.

Sep 28, 2009 I am such a fan of the Looking Glass series. The beer is just yum yum. A great IPA, that focuses on the citrus hop to near perfection. Unique in cultivating that bitterness without becoming too dry.

Sep 19, 2009 Slightly hazy copper color from draught pour. Enjoyed from the source in Boulder, CO.
Nose is a pleasing citrusy orange dominant aroma, with miscellaneous citrus and pine in the background. Big and pleasant orangey hops. Nice.
On the palate enough malt is present to balance out the hops but overall the orangey hop spice wins. I find this extremely appealing, as the beer becomes a lemonade (orangeade) of beers - great for thist quenching when you have that citrusy craving.
Finish is moderately long with plenty of tartness. Yum.

Sep 17, 2009 On tap at Old Chicago. Pours orangish golden with white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is hops, citrus, caramel malt, and some tropical fruit. Flavor is malty with citrus, hops and some caramel. Nicely balanced IPA and not overly hoppy. Pretty easy drinker and am surprised by how high the ABV. Too bad I had this after trying OB Gordon which made this taste like water.

Sep 13, 2009 A not quite cloudy golden colored beer. Decent creme colored head. Spicy hop aroma. Citrus peel, pines and mild malts. Flavor is much the same. Bitterness and hops all over a malt base. Piney, citrusy, earthy with a undertone of very mild toffee notes. Carbonated with a dry bitter finish. Leaves the mouth clean. Nice lacing.

Sep 12, 2009 Thistle and pineapple aroma, moderate strength. Clear amber, thick white head, some lacing. Malted wheat and bready with a weak lemon peel finish. Quite enjoyable, but not nearly as hoppy as you are led to believe. Rock solid IPA.
