| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 26, 2007 Big hoppy nose and mouth. This beer is all about the hops, there is just a little malt in there to add some mouthfeel but you really can’t taste it. Citrus flavor with notes of orange/tangerine. Very nice. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Pours a relatively clear, although bublly, light orange with a small off white head. Aroma is big citrus, with juicy hops backing it up. Nice change from many other IPA’s. I love the little spice character in it as well. The taste is more hoppy, although you do get a very nice citrus taste. Very refreshing beer, perfect for sessions. Nice crispness to it, finish was fairly long, mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Damn solid IPA. WISEGUY572 (1246), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 20, 2007 It’s ok but it’s just another IPA. Malt, pine needles and orange in the nose. Malt, pine needles and citrus in the taste. Could do with more malt and more bitterness and more crispness. Interestingly, I found the Czech Pilsner that i had right after had better malt backbone and better bitterness. This was just not very interesting as an IPA. zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 19, 2007 Bottle thanks to cheapdark! Pours hazy yellow orange, white head. Aroma is tangerine, floral; on the crisp side. Doesn’t have that wet dog aroma. Flavor is tangerine, wheat, bitter hops. I detect a bit of apricot fruitiness. Overall, this is a nice crisp IPA, even if it’s not that complex. mtoast (312), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 18, 2007 On draught, multiple times. Hazy amber color, somewhat fizzy short lived foam, fairly sharp hoppy aroma. Flavor is a little muddy to me, seems to be lacking something. A good IPA, not great but still tasty jmikolich (405), Athens, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 15, 2007 12oz from SecretSanta, THANKS!, lots of flavor here with a very crisp very long finish, i was most surprised by the finish, and beyond that its a standard IPA chock full of Amarillo Hops. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 13, 2007 Bottle. Lots sweet (caramel) malt on the nose. I was honestly expecting a little more hops. Pours light copper with a big white head. Good balance of malt and hops throughout with none being too dominant over the other. Finishes quite hoppy and dry. Medium to full bodied with excellent carbonation. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 13, 2007 POurs deep copper. It gives off pure citrus notes on the nose and then drives into a very balanced citrus/hops bitterness. It finsihes with some nice complexity.
