| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 9, 2007 This beer helped me realize today that even though I try not to admit it, my favorite beers are IPAs. Also, Mojo is now an official destruction spell. Says it right there in the description. Anyways, this beautiful beer pours the color of a sunrise seen through a dense fog. The head diminishes quite rapidly, but a little swirl knocks it back into existence. The lacing is as thick as whip cream. Love the smells flying off this thing. Apples, oranges, citrus resin... very aromatic. Flavor actually outdid the aroma as there were one too many things to count. It actually reminded me of mulled cider, with an apple-like taste sneaking in with tons of spices behind it. Finished citrusy, but wasn’t showy like cascade IPAs are. Each sip started off sweet and smooth, then the hops kicked in with some dryness. This beer is way too quenchable for 6.8% and way too good to not be glorified for it’s almost perfect character. Definitely going to be picking up multiple 6 packs of this mojo. scottmc (167), Lakewood, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2007 A good lighter IPA in the market. Not too heavy and smooth earthy finish. Similar use of hops as Hazed, but this has the bitterness that make it the great IPA that it is. Light head with a mild body. Tejas (703), Dallas, Texas, USA

Maybe a bit too much grapefruit for me. Maybe a better balance is needed for a regular IPA? Only a good beer - nothing spectacular. Glad I tried it. I might try again just to make sure I’m not missing something. lgklotet (420), Singapore, Singapore
