Commercial Description:
Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.

Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.

Does it make sense that this beer smells like pot and peaches? "Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks." The marketing on the bottle has kept me from trying this beer. My loss until now. This is a really well balenced IPA. Lots of flavor but really easy to drink.

Bottle. Great citrus hop aroma. Pale amber gold color with a frothy white head that laces. Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation bite. Starts with citrus hop, backed by a moderate amount of malt. Almost juicy. The finish is nicely bitter with some citrus hanging around.

Bottled. Amber coloured with a medium sized tan head. Somewhat dry and bitter with notes of fruit and citrus. A bit too high carbonated.

Rated 2/24/07: This beer helped my fix my hop jones mighty quick. Nice upfront aroma, very grapefruity but not extremely intense. Awesome dark golden color with a fluffy white head and serious lacing, love the color of this one very vibrant. Full and refreshing the mouthfeel quenches immediately. Easy drinkin’ IPA. Flavor is nice and hoppy, mostly citrus with the likes of grapefruit, lemon, and some orange. Good use of the Amarillo hop, I definately enjoyed this one.

Bottle. 12 fl. oz. A light amber color with pale, thin head and good lacing. Heavy grapefruit aroma with some malt. Medium to light bodied with an oily texture and fairly soft carbonation. Flavor is light sweet with a long, dry, bitter finish. Not my favorite IPA, but pretty refreshing.

Bottle thanks to cbkschubert. Poured a golden body with thin head. Citrusy aroma, light malt. Flavor is grapefruit hops, malty feel. Smooth despite the alcohol%. Nice IPA.

Bottle stamped AUG0107 on the neck. Pours a light orange with a creamy white head that leaves nice lacing. The aroma has orange, grapefruit and some pine. The flavor is much the same with orange, grapefruit and a caramel background. Medium body and dry texture. Moderate bitterness that leaves a citrus aftertaste. A very decent IPA. Thanks to andyhite for cutting me a deal on this one.

Nice hoppy aromas of herbs, resin and grapefruit with cereal and broth notes. Frothy head that’s a little off white, fully lasting and good lacing. Yellow and sparkling clear in color. Taste starts of lightly sweet, tart and bitter, and has a long, moderately bitter finish. It’s body is medium light, dry and has a soft carbonation
