Pours a light orange with a creamy white head that leaves nice lacing. The aroma has orange, grapefruit and some pine. The flavor is much the same with orange, grapefruit and a caramel background. Medium body and dry texture. Moderate bitterness that leaves a citrus aftertaste. A very decent IPA. Thanks to andyhite for cutting me a deal on this one. mlist55 (210), media, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 21, 2007 IN TASTING I MAINLY REALIZED THAT I WAS OFF ON MY HAZED AND INFUSED RATING. THIS IS A NICE IPA, A BIT STRONG IN ALCOHOL AND A TAD BRUTAL AND PERHAPS UNEVEN. BITTER CRISP AND TANGY. THE HAZED HAS ALREADY TAINTED MY TASTEBUDS. UNBALANCED IN THE MALT PROFILE. chimpscampee (566), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 20, 2007 Light, crisp. Lacks the hops and citrus and mojo of exceptional IPA’s like Indica, SN... Has a mineral edge to it. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 17, 2007 Golden-amber color with a medium frothy head. Aroma is a nice grassy-lemon. Taste is a pleasant mix of grassy-citrus hops with just a bit of malt sweetness for balance. Good overall IPA. dillinja (24), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 8, 2007 I can really feel this beer - it packs in a great hop fix and still leaves a fresh finish. In Boulder, it’s gotta be the most afforable and accessible big-hop beer. Really satisfies, and I love it for that. illinismitty (1800), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 6, 2007 A newly arrived brand to Nashville Purchased at Midtown for 8.99 per six. Pours amber golden with a frothy eggshell head. Very nice aroma of citrus zest and leafy hops. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. The bitterness starts off immediately, which is grapefruity and herbal backed by a pale malts. Medium to long finish that is slightly "bitey" , and very dry and grassy. This is very hoppy for a standard IPA. I might even go so far to say this in double IPA territory for bitterness, but the alcohol and malt profile keeps this as a standard. I will be purchasing more of this until I can get to KY to replenish my Bells Hopslam. GD Hercules, GD Titan IPA, and Stone IPA are all available here in TN, but they are very overpriced in this market. I am glad I have an affordable alternative to satisfy my hop cravings.
