Commercial Description:
Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.

Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.

yellow color with a soft tannish off white head. the nose is very floral and soapy... notes of grapefruit rind, spice and pine. it tastes like cinnamon flavored grapefruit juice?...? loads of florals followed by pale malty sweetness followed by a drying bitterness. it seems a bit odd... kinda lacking cohesion and malt balance (can’t believe i said that!). sharp carbonation in a medium body... 6/3/7/3/13/3.2

Pours a clear glowing golden amber with a lingering small white head. Aroma is a nice mix of pine and citric hops. A malt backbone keeps the hops from getting too overpowering. Very fruity with peach, grapefruit, nectarine. Flavor starts with a nice sweet citric hop character followed by a sharper more biting hop bitterness. Lots of floral character with honey and caramel. Finishes light and easy for all those hops, not too dry or bitter and quite refreshing. Medium body and a sharp carbonation. A very nice and easy drinking ipa even for those who may not love the style.

The hops are definitely interesting. They hit you first, then the malt mellows it out, follwed by a nice bitter aftertaste. Good mouthfeel.

Pours a light hazy golden color, foamy white head, nice lace. Nose of pine, hops, citrus. Taste is almost like grapefruit, only slightly bitter, decent hop flavor. Overall a quite quaffable IPA, not anything crazy, but definitely refreshing.

Beautiful IPA color, pale and not red. Floral nose of hop oil, resiny with a touch of meyer lemon. Round malt entry covers the palate in it’s sweetness. All melds into a savory hoppiness that sticks to the sides of the tongue and gums. Amarillo hops dry the palate and begs for another sip. Exceptionally drinkable for the abv. Quite refreshing, and a great way to explore the Amarillo hop. Sholuld stand in well for a New World SB. Well priced. 90
