| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 14, 2009 A solid IPA. Pours out a coppery color with a medium head. Aroma was big on hops and citrus. Flavor was grassy with a slight malt hop hit in the finish. Very dry. I found myself gulping this one.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 15, 2009 Bomber. light orange clear with little haze. Aroma is light citrus and heavier grass with hint of sweet fruit. Light dryness the whole way through makes for a great brew with a clean mouthful, soft up front; also of grass but now lighter caramel and resin creating a tinge, biting finish. Gotta love the locals. Foxbush (461), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 10, 2009 This was purchased at Total Wine in Richmond. The clear golden ale is a wonderful IPA. The citrus aroma was evident just after pouring the beer. This balanced hoppy ale is a medium bodied ale. The finish was smooth just the right bitterness. This is my second Boulder Beer Company and I will look for more. beerfest5 (198), Simsbury, Connecticut, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 9, 2009 nice ipa, finish is a little too overbearing with grapefruit but a nice drinkable ipa with the right balance of floral aroma and just a little malt sweetness, funny, all i could think about when drinking this was it was midway between an east coast and west coast ipa in flavor. bpreo (21), Colorado, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 23, 2009 Pours a crystal clear straw yellow. Creamy white head leaves good lacing with strong staying power. Aroma strong of citrus hops. Slightly yeasty. Very strong hop flavor. Bitter hits right away. Grapefruit. Lacking in malt. Thin on the palate with harsh carbonation. Stings a bit. Not bad if you want a bottle of hop juice. Not much different then all other IPAs. Doesn’t really stand out. Still drinkable, but better can be had at the price point. agillespie81 (203), Denver, Colorado, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Nov 15, 2009 Updated: Dec 7, 200912-oz bottle. Clear light golden pour. Three finger white head. Orange peel with hints of something like vanilla in the aroma. Maybe caramel. Creamy texture.Caramel malts clearly apparent up front. But the sweetness lingers a little too long on the palate making the finish a little muddled. Grassy bitter finish. Not my favorite IPA, but definitely not bad.
