smith4498 (370), Miami, Florida, USA Mar 13, 2008 Pours clear amber with a big white head. Strong pine aroma. Flavor stars sweet and malty and finishes dry with a strong hoppy taste. Pretty good IPA. Light to medium body with a sticky, oily mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Would probably have again.
Acknud (607), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Oct 6, 2008 Hazy golden pour. Immediate nose of citrus. I love a citrus tasting beer. Taste strong of grapefruit. Goodgrief (1043), Middletown, Delaware, USA Oct 6, 2008 KSBF 08. Copper pour smallish head. Subdued citrusy flavor with a dry puckering hop finish. Just enough malt to balance it out. Pretty good beer...better than their DIPA. pinkzambia (889), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 4, 2008 Bottle: Clear copper color with not much head. Powerful floral hop aroma with a hints of lemon as well. It was extremely pleasant. Good solid structure with a nice bitter aftertaste. So far, this is Boulder’s best I’ve had. The_Beer_God (2855), Newport News, Virginia, USA Oct 4, 2008 Bottle. Amber bodied with a tall densely packed off-white head. Flowery hops and citrus notes but this also has some strong malt and grains in the aroma. Taste is bigger citrus fruits, strong hop bitterness, pine, caramel, chewy malts and some sweetness. Almost like a candied orange type flavor. Body is medium with a strong but creamy carbonation. Dry bodied as well. Finishes with more citrus notes, lighter pine, floral hops, sweet malts, caramel and more candied fruit. Neematoad (61), , Illinois, USA Sep 27, 2008 A nice copper color and small head. Pretty strong with a heavy malt taste. A little hint of a citrus taste and bitterness from the hops. Goes down kind of awkwardly. Not really my favorite IPA.
