Bubbled ring of oof-white head. Citrus sugary malty nose. Grapefruit hops. Solid nose. Full bodied and super crisp. Big bitterness. Lemon lime citrus flavors. Super bright grapefruit notes. Mild sweetness associated with high gravity brews. Hop dominant, but a good palate roll! JohnnyZ (81), USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 6, 2008 Color is a golden tan with good carbonation and a large frothy head. Aroma is somewhat subdued for an American DIPA. Medium sweet aroma of grapefruit and caramel malt. Flavor is a wonderful balance of american hops and caramel malt. Creamy texture, medium bodied, nice long dry-bitter finish. Maybe a bit thin for a DIPA but nonetheless a very tasty brew. marchcow (664), Coralville, Iowa, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2008 Caramel honey aroma. Frothy off white head withe a deep orange golden body. Fllavor is hoppy, lightly bitter, some sweet honey flavors, some cereal flavors and a light saltiness. Palate is mild. Bitter sweet duration. More like and IPA than a DIPA. Good though. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Aroma is all grapefruit. Flavor is a slightly sour initial taste, morphing into a hoppy one. Pours yellow orange with minimal head. The tartness in this DIPA is distracting - shouldn’t be there. dmac (1500), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 1, 2008 22 oz bomber thanks to Jeffy. Pours an orangey gold with a small bright white foamy head. Aroma on this one is caramel and pineapple, see not all beers need to be super complex. Medium bodied with average carbonation that finishes with a good amount of bitterness. Flavor has lots of alcohol shinning through with some bitter citrus notes and slight toffee. This one needs some more malts to balance out all the pumped up citrus hops. Meh at best for this one. apshah99 (146), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 30, 2008 Yellow orange pour with piney citrus hop aroma, some malt. Earthy grapefruit taste, caramel with some spice on a resiny bitter finish. Medium on the palate (barely not too thin) with very good carbonation. This is a nice extension of the regular mojo. changeup45 (802), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 28, 2008 Updated: May 29, 2008Pretty clear orange color with a nice inital sticky head so I get a lot of lacing. Aroma is pine needles and hops but it’s rather subtle especially considering the abv. I taste the hops at first with some lemons and oranges but it quickly turns to a lot of malt and honey and finishes somewhat clean for the style. Good beer but surprisingly I may prefer their regular Mojo IPA.
