Commercial Description:
Only 120 precious barrels were brewed, adding more than half a ton of extra malt and twice the amount of Amarillo hops, so prepare your self for a full sensory explosion. The double dry-hop addition elevates the grapefruit-like aroma and flavor to an outrageous intensity, while the added malt raises the alcohol level from 7% all the way to 10% by volume.

Lotsl of pine and some grapefruit in the aroma. Hazy orange with a decent white head. Full palate. Tons of grapefruit and a nice hop bitterness. Just enough malt to carry the hops. Very, very good. Not a hint of that 10%.

Cloudy orange pour with a very strong citrus aroma along with some grassy and bready scents...very appealing! Thick white head lasts a while. Flavor is all hops...no, wait, its malt...abrupt changes on the palate, and very intriguing. Hop flavor is good and strong, and a nice bitterness is left on the aftertaste. Not a quick drinker, but appealing to enjoy over an extended evening!

Golden color with a decent sized off-white head. Aroma is of citrus and other fruity hops with some floral scents. Taste is a cornucopia of fruit flavors and sticky hops - OK, but there are certainly better DIPAs out there.

Nice orange tinted amber color, white head that fades but leaves a nice lace. Nose is a bit malty, nice citrus underneath. Medium carbonation, medium bodied, just a touch sticky. Nice grapefruit flavor, decent bitter finish. Alocohol is hiden well.

22oz bottle: Pours a cloudy light orange/yellow color with medium sized off white head. Aroma is full of sharp, bright citrusy hops, bit of grapefruit and apricot. Flavor is rather fruity, with grapefruit, peach, pear, slightly spicey, with fair amount of citrusy herbal hops and caramel. Finish is balanced but with a firm bitterness. A nice brew overall, a bit too much going on, too estery, etc., but still good.

In the bomber bottle from Beertopia. Pours a beautifully deep dark and dense gold- so much that it seems a light amber in color. The head forms an enormous white pillow that is barely contained in an imperial pint glass when you pour this at 52°F. Aroma is outstanding: it smells downright green. green fresh mown grass. Grapefruit. Apricots. Really ripe pears. The flavor has about the same hop bitterness as the regular Mojo, but the stupid amount of malt sweetness does this beer a fantastic favor to create balance. The candy sweetness also has a great orange flavor. Thick and chewy palate. Good stuff.

22 oz. bottle. Aroma was more to malty side than citrus. Cooper body with fizzy off white head. Juicy grapefriut and some citrus vine chewy flavor. Dry on the palate but that sweet citrus lingers for a decent aftertaste. Good Brew.

Had this a day after trying regular Mojo, making comparison inevitable. Similar golden color, nice head and a lot more aroma. Hits big with citrus hop flavors. Aftertaste indelible and satisfying, like tracks in steep powder behind you. Socks a bigger taste wallop than Mojo, but the higher ABV is stealthy like a Shaolin shadowboxer. Or in the words of Desmond Dekker: Beautiful and Dangerous.
