| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 31, 2007 Bottle - so many grapefuit hops that it literally puckered my mouth WHEN I SMELLED IT! Deep golden colored with a white head. Plenty of hops in the flavor, but not as puckering as the aroma. Plenty of malt to balance them, I guess. In fact, I’d like it more unbalanced. When I’m drinking a DIPA, I’m not after balance - I want hops! This is a good beer, but not what I expected. talon1117 (626), Bellvue, Colorado, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 31, 2007 Pours from a bottle with a clear copper-orange color and a white, average, dense, pillowy head; average longevity with decent tight lacing. Nose is surprisingly pleasnat considering the original nose; citrus is dominant with an orange-tangerine note, minty, piney undertones, and some caramel sweetness as background with whisps of alcohol. Flavor starts out nicely with the same citrus notes with backing resin, mint, and grass and a decent lat sweetness backing; but it is short lived, giving way to a grassy, herbal, moderately high bitterness and not much malt balance. Palate is moderate carbonation, moderately full, and quite creamy. Finish is lingering and mostly bitter with herbal notes and faint mint. Wow, from the original "Mojo", this one is much better and very drinkable for the 10%. I actually liked this one depite comments I read, but the flavors just worked; had the finish been as good as the forefront, it would have been quite quite good. jmcguire1969 (149), Lafayette, Colorado, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 30, 2007 Bottle and served in my GI IPA Tulip: Pours a clean deep golden hue with a fading but lasting frothy ring which left good lace on the glassware.
The aroma has notes of leafy hops and citrus hop esters of pine, grass, pineapple and blood orange. Additional there is a perfume and soapy character that is a bit of put off. Biscuity and some earthy notes as well on the nose.
The taste is mostly a dry hopped resin overtone with citric background on top of pale malt background. Not a lot of depth but does display the primary IIPA nature. The finish is some powdered allspice and hint of yeasty chalkiness. The mouth feel is spritzy and biting and does a good job of hiding the alcohol (10% really?)
A good brew but not in the same class of the better IIPA out there. Worth a try but do not expect to be blown away. mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2007 Good amount of sweet caramel malt and a little bit of spicy floral hops. Hop flavor is very moderate for the style. No alcohol apparent at all. Just a bit of citrus from the hops. Mouthfeel is a little thin, but overall creamy and smooth. Not getting hardly any bitterness. Just enough to hold off some sweetness. While the hops are a little scarce, this is an extremely easy drinking beer. They deserve credit for making such a big beer that doesn’t come off that way.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 27, 2007 22 oz. bottle, shared with a green eyed lady. Perfumey, citric, toasty malt nose. Light honey orange amber hue. Pale malt presence, sweet enough to balance the bitterness...Alcohol is pretty much well hidden, would never have said 10 hey...Medium-full body, although seeming thin at some points. Grapefruit, conifer resin, herbal hops, through a long lingering finish. Something is lacking in this beer, i just can’t put my finger on it...It was strong enough, though, to get me to make an ass of myself in front my my friends...at least after it was followed by several irish car bmbs. take off yer skirt... | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 27, 2007 Tap somewhere in Boston. Almost clear golden body topped by a small white head. Powerful aroma of full hop umbels. Oily body full of hops resin. Grapefruits taste and prevailing sensation of drinking an entire hop plant. Not only did it fell like a 7% but it was also very drinkable. Almost felt “light”. Strong hop fix that is dangerously drinkable. Will surely be the cause of a lot of decadent behaviours. Mr Mojo Risin himself would be proud.
