Commercial Description:
Only 120 precious barrels were brewed, adding more than half a ton of extra malt and twice the amount of Amarillo hops, so prepare your self for a full sensory explosion. The double dry-hop addition elevates the grapefruit-like aroma and flavor to an outrageous intensity, while the added malt raises the alcohol level from 7% all the way to 10% by volume.

Draft at the brewpub. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong grassy notes of hops. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of grass and hops as well as lighter notes of grapefruit and an alcohol note showing up very late and which also burns lightly in the throat.

Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Clear deep golden, brief head. Doughy malt comes through already in the aroma. Grapefruity hops compliment it well. Sweet and fruity with full body and pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Strong flavour of toffee, sugar and grapefruit. Powerful but balanced bitterness.

hazy yellow, frothy white head, sweet tangerine and pine aroma, lots of sweet citrus flavor, yet another double IPA but just as yummy as all of the others, light bitter finish complements rather than distracts,

Light bronze colour. Grapefruit, wood, cedar, maybe even ginger. Somewhat thin for the style - maybe the thinnest I’ve had yet. The hop bitterness is mellow but it’s the main component here. Some nice fruity character but lacks the malt to back it up.

Beautiful copper color, hazy. Luscious caramel and toffee aroma, with sweet nuts, a hint of citrus fruits. Smooth mouthfeel, rich caramel flavor; strong hopping, with a balanced mix of bitter oranges and resins. Excellent.

(22oz bottle) Medium white head atop clear apple juice body. Aroma is mild, medium sweet, pine grapefruit. Taste is moderately sweet, pine, grapefruit, some caramel. Strong bitterness. Chewy medium-full body, lots of resin, alcohol well masked.
