Commercial Description:
Only 120 precious barrels were brewed, adding more than half a ton of extra malt and twice the amount of Amarillo hops, so prepare your self for a full sensory explosion. The double dry-hop addition elevates the grapefruit-like aroma and flavor to an outrageous intensity, while the added malt raises the alcohol level from 7% all the way to 10% by volume.

Good amount of sweet caramel malt and a little bit of spicy floral hops. Hop flavor is very moderate for the style. No alcohol apparent at all. Just a bit of citrus from the hops. Mouthfeel is a little thin, but overall creamy and smooth. Not getting hardly any bitterness. Just enough to hold off some sweetness. While the hops are a little scarce, this is an extremely easy drinking beer. They deserve credit for making such a big beer that doesn’t come off that way.

Bottle into a pint glass. Orange pour with one inch head. Great aroma with citrus tones. Well balanced between the hops and a semi-chocolate malt. Nice beer.

Orangish pour. Aroma is loaded with citrus and caramel with a slight floral note. Flavor is a nice balance between hops and malt. Not bad.

27th July 2008. Deep gold clear beer. Loads of hops but not too bitter. Soft palate. The hops are juicy and well balanced by subtle malt. Very drinkable double IPA.

Dandelion and caramel aroma with piney undertones. Clear amber, medium white head, nice lacing. Medium body. Caramel and pine needle flavor, quite bitter with a bit of peach schnapps. Rubbery pine finish. Neat beer and a pleasure to drink.

Malty and hoppy. The ABV is there, but is decently masked. Sweet yet woody and roasty. I like.

Mmmm hops. This one was thick and syrupy like a dry barley wine. Nice and oily. Hops everywhere, grassy hops and citrussy ones though mostly citrussy ones. Great IIPA.

Bottled@MonksCafe, Wallingatan, Stockholm. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is exotic fruits, some wood and mild grassy notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, dry grassy and nectary notes as well. Hides the alcohol quite well.
