Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of citrus hops, caramel malts, and some spices. Flavor is the same with not much of a lingering flavor. Almost seems to be lacking something on the finish. I was not really impressed with this brew.

Ruby red color, nice rocky head. Good lacing. Aroma is subtle malty sweetness w/ hint of roasted malt. Good mouthfeel. Roasted malt. Like a good amber but a little more spicy. Finishes clean.

Pretty good beer with an interesting finish. Must be the secret spice. Malty nose, and a decent mouthfeel with an abundance of hops. Caramel notes in the malt. Very good.

Deep copper going toward ruby/brown with frothy 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, nutmeg, toffee, nuts, mild cabernet, like a spicy ESB. Tastes caramel malty, with spice, dry noble hops, soke cabernet notes. This one comes across like a spiced nut brown or ESB ale, with more noble hops and spices.

Hoppy nose. Red color, white head. Overtly bitter. One dimensional caramel/bitter flavor that doesn’t last. Some pine in the finish means it’s Christmas.

Bottle. Mild nose, some piney hops with a bit of citrus. Dark red, thick but clear with a thin white head. Strong bitterness, good balance but no depth. No notable "winter" flavors, maybe a touch of spice in the finish. Good palate, slightly thick but crisp and refreshing.

Nice clear reddish brown with small creme colored head. Slight caramel brandy aroma with faintly sour cherry notes. Taste is caramel and spices. Relatively dry finish, and very drinkable. $1.80/12oz
