A Pretty good beer, but not quite on par with Boulder’s real good ones (Hazed & Infused and Mojo). Tasy and a little taste of fruit. I’d buy it again, but its not one of my top beers.

Deep red color with no head at all. Great citrus nose with tons of maple syrup malt flavors. Nose is like pure malt extract. Body is malt with some light spice and hops

Bottle. Pours a clear deep reddish brown color with a small beige head even with an aggressive pour. The aroma was mainly citrus with a malt backbone. The flavor was much of the same. The caramel malts lasted throughout with the citrus joining in early followed by a dry slightly bitter finish. Overall not bad, but there are much better choices I can make on a daily basis.

Bottle Pours a clear deep mahogany witha small tan head. Nce thin but persistant sheets of lacing. Lots of malty aroma and little hops. Flavor was full and malty, again not very bitter but lots of rich malty flavors. Palate was heavy and smooth and the finish was very full bodied. Nice.

Shared a 12-oz bottle with Cellars Wine & Spirits team, pours a amber orange brew with a thick, fast dissolving tan/orange head. Nice lacing. Aroma of bitter spruce, caramel, citrus peel, and some burnt butter. Taste is sweet malt, carbonated and a touch of caramel. Finish is quite dry with a lingering dry hops aftertaste.

Deep red color with no head at all. Great citrus nose with tons of maple syrup malt flavors. Nose is like pure malt extract. Body is malt with some light spice and hops, but it is not a very complex winter beer in my opinion. Mouth feel is less than full.

I figured I’d better drink this now as summer is right around the corner...

Spice/Herb/Vegetable??? Um... OK, but I would have pegged this as a Barleywine. Pours a fiery, coppery/red body under an ecru head which laces in a sheet. Deep, rich citrus aromas mingle atop the huge sweetness of a caramel malt backbone. A little sticky in the mouth, but the body is not as full as I’d expected. The same flavor comes through as found in the aroma, with a full sweetness preceding a dry hopcit & spice finish with lingering notes of tea. Yeah... I’m gonna miss winter....
