Tap at OTH. Pours copper with beige head. Aroma malty with light hops giving it a subtle fruity - orange, citrus nose. There also was a good nose of hops with light spices and as the beer warmed up it gained a light moldy/cheese like smell. Taste is hoppy and light roasted malty with notes of caramel. Thick and creamy mouthfeel. with a light bitter finish.

12oz bottle. Filtered amber brown color with a nice foamy head. Mildly spicy aroma, nutmeg or cinnamon perhaps. Malty, medium bodied with a sweet finish. The hops are there but never really shine because of the other flavors going on. A little unsubtle in spicing, but an OK beer nonetheless.

Tried on draft. A nice darker ale. Smells and tastes a little sweet with some molasses and maple flavors. Some malty flavor in there as well. A nice, thicker beer that has a clean aftertaste. Worthwhile.

Bottle. Toasty medium sweet aroma. Copper body, orange-white head. Flavor is malty with lots of spicy side notes, and a sweetness that lingers in the finish. Quite tasty and satisfying.

12 Fl oz bottle, thanks to Beave from the AA forum! On December 28, 2008. Clear dark copper to brown color, big tan head. Sweet malty caramel scent, also hoppy. Grassy, citrus hoppy taste, also metallic. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Bottle from total wine. Amber pour. White head. Interesting aroma. I am guessing by some other reviewers it is the nugget hops. I get honey, sweet wildflowers, spices and citrus. Flavor is pretty darned nice actually. I get hits of orange, honey, coriander and malt. Hops are present but they arent bitter. Sweet and spicy. Pleasant surprise here.

On tap at the Oldsmar Tap House (Tampa, FL). Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a white head. Aroma is hoppy caramel, honey, some citrus notes, slightly floral with a hint of spice. Flavor is malty and sweet with notes of caramel, some slight floral hops, hints of spice and maybe just a note or two of honey. Generally medium body with a slightly sweet malt finish.
