Commercial Description:
A perfect companion any way you pass time, this British-style pale ale is exceptionally soft and sweet compared with highly hopped American-style pale ales. The hop subtlety, distinct malt character and rich caramel color of Pass Time Pale Ale work together to create a smooth, lightly carbonated ale.

Slightly murky, darkish amber with a sudsy off-white head. Aromas are unremarkable... grass, caramel, maybe a little lemon and yeast (?)... something is reminiscent of a wheat beer here. Flavor is OK. Caramel comes through big, a bit of a soapy taste, though and then some light fruit and hops pick up the tail end. Finishes a little watery, however.

very pleasent pale ale. A very nice malt characteristic with just the right amount of hops. A lot more then I was expecting. Pleasent and proably a good session

Bottle: Caramel, big grapefruit nose. Nice caramalts, sweet citrus and pine. A bit thin for the style, but very refreshing and tasty.

Resin, hops, and hay aroma. Slightly funky smelling. Slight piney taste but seems a little watered down.

Pours a light orange amber. Small head with a little lacing. Some caramelly malts and a little bit of hop bite, some cardboardy flavors. Reminds me of Bell’s Amber Ale but not as interesting -- yet overall a good, drinkable beer. A little watery. Would be fine for a session.

This brew pours a tawnied honey color with little froth and effers. Not much to offer on the aroma but a slight canned maltiness. Flavors are slightly fruity and mellow with just a slight spakling of hops. A smooth style indeed. I enjoyed it.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear orange gold with a moderate off-white head that lasted through the entire glass. Light, pleasant caramel aroma. Flavor starts out with some caramel sweetness with a decent, slightly bitter hop finish. Very smooth and easy to drink.

From bottle. Pours a clear orange with off-white head. Weak hay in the nose with a little sweet malt. Flavor pretty much the same, with a light body and crisp finish. Not a whole lot there.
