Commercial Description:
A perfect companion any way you pass time, this British-style pale ale is exceptionally soft and sweet compared with highly hopped American-style pale ales. The hop subtlety, distinct malt character and rich caramel color of Pass Time Pale Ale work together to create a smooth, lightly carbonated ale.

Bottle. Wow, my beer rating buddies rated this a while back and did not care for it at all, they must have been drunk while writing their notes or the beer was off as this is pretty decent. Pours a clear bubbly gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma has a nice balance of floral hops and caramel malt. Flavour follows the aroma and is equally malty and hoppy along with some fruit. Medium bodied. This had a surprising amount of hops in it, it’s nothing special but for a Pale Ale it’s pretty good.

copper and near clear. white head. A sweet aroma with some floral hops on the nose. Flavor was sweet like honey and some hop notes. not a great beer. Seemed a bit light.

Pours a clear, medium-copper with light carbonation and a short, yellow-tinged-white head. Aroma is very pastry-like with biscuity malts amd lemon. Caramel malts and instant iced tea mix come out late. Flavor finds honey & hops (Goldings?) with a salty backwash... possibly the result of lemony astringence. Not overhopped, this complies nicely to style. Buttery/oily mouth. Satisfying in flavor and body.

Thin head, clear copper body. Weak aroma of caramel, sweet malts. Taste is earthy and bitter, a touch sour and tangy, kind of throws things off. Finish is clean but somewhat tasteless.

Orange with small off white head. Aroma is pine and grass hops. Watery and smooth. Not much flavor. Some thin citrus notes, and a hop presence that makes it pleasant enough to drink, but not enough to really give it its own character.

[bottle - 12 oz] Cloudy and murky orange/amber color. No head. Some malts and grain in the aroma with the slightest floral hint. Very light. Slightly metallic and floral taste. Lots of hops and not much of the malts I detected in the aroma. Very metallic and biting finish with a hop aftertaste. Very thin-bodied. Nothing to write hope about.

Mostly buttery caramel malts with a lightly floral hoppiness to add a little bite in the finish. I could see this as a pretty decent session-style beer, but nothing inspiring.
