Commercial Description:
A perfect companion any way you pass time, this British-style pale ale is exceptionally soft and sweet compared with highly hopped American-style pale ales. The hop subtlety, distinct malt character and rich caramel color of Pass Time Pale Ale work together to create a smooth, lightly carbonated ale.

Bottle. I think somebody gave this to me at a LoSBD meeting, so cheers to you. Pours light orange with citrus, malt, and caramel aromas. Light hops come through in the taste along with faint butterscotch. A very easy drinking pale but nothing remarkable.

Not bad. Not great. Enjoyable beer. I would buy a 6 pack and keep it on hand. A beer to give to the newbies that are used to the big 3 brands.

This poured a very bright copper with a decent white head... at the beginning. The aroma is sweet caramel with a light cherry fruitiness and some decent fuggle hops. Uninspired but tasty enough, it has a strong caramel taste neatly bittered with herbal/earthy hops.

while I am rather fond of Hazed & Infused and Mojo the other beers by this brewer have not impressed me much. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bronze color with a large yellow-white head. The aroma is vegetal malts. There is no detectable hops on the nose. The flavor is vegetal sour malts with a light hoppy finish. Not a great offering.

Bottle. Clear amber with a moderate off-white head that diminished slowly. Moderate fruity sweet malty aroma. Medium body. Well balanced sweet flavor with an average sweet finish.

10.02.05 Tap at brewpub. Sheesh, tracking down these beers is almost as bad as Rogue. Unfortunately, these beers aren’t nearly as good. This one is a pale amber gold, pretty flat and with a anxiously fading white head. Thin bodied but effy and lithe. Grassy and surprisingly vinous with interesting notes of pinot grigio and fresh white grape skins. Huh. Curious, but I won’t call it good.

i read some of the number on the other reviews. And I’m shocked - This beer is an excellent example of an english pale ale. It’s smooth and sweet - and malty not overly hoppy. If you like seirra’s pale ale you’ll HATE this.

thought id try this as one of my four beers i routinely buy at the end of my shift at the beer store i work at...a customer had reccomended all of the boulder beers to me earlier in the day. maybe i just chose the wrong one. was expectly something a little hoppier going with the west coast style ipa and pale ales but this is not what i tasted. too sweet and watery. was thinking of just having one beer tonight, but after this, i still yearn for something more
