Pours a murkly dark orange with a spongy, sticky white head, that sticks around a little bit. Puingent aroma, reminiscent of overripe fruit. Flavor has that patented home-brewer malt taste with a touch of citrus and maple syrup. Mouthfeel is slightly sticky. Not the best APA. Earlier Rating: 3/1/2004 Total Score: 3.4 Pleasant copper appearance, clean, floral nose with hints of mint and citrus. Tight white head with little lacing. Chewy flavor with some nutty notes and a mild citrusy undertone. Hops make their presence, but not overdone. A little bit of caramel lingers in the back end. Nice mouthfeel. Stays strong to the finish. alaskanwarren (286), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Smells light and slightly bitter. No real hops to notice in the nose. Initial taste is disappointing. I expected at least some hops to speak of, but just got a light malt with a little bit of fruit. Body is medium-light with a tiny bit of coating. Finish is some sort of sour maltiness. Overall, rather uninteresting. Too bad. PullMeABeer (203), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Nose is metallic and pale, with some sour fruity notes. Flavor is fresh, light, sweet fruitiness(pear, apple, orange), with a soapy finish. Just a hint of a nutty character. Body is quite thin, but lively on the palate. Refreshing. "It is soft." heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 28, 2005 Light orange body with a thin head. The aroma is overripe oranges with some peaches and a little caramel. The taste is sweet caramel and roasted nuts. There is also a pronounced orange flavoring. The body is slightly thin. This could use a little more hops to balance the sweetness. jah noth (1017), Rochester, New York, USA

Nice copper color with a fluffy head. Tingly mouthfeel, decently carbonated. Flavor is way too sweet - caramel and melon and mustiness of some British hops. Very unworthy of me passing time with this. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

A hint of hops and malt in the aroma but nothing exciting to taste. Pretty ho hum.. Nothing memorable about this pale ale. belgianhomebrew (646), Acworth, Georgia, USA
