Commercial Description:
A perfect companion any way you pass time, this British-style pale ale is exceptionally soft and sweet compared with highly hopped American-style pale ales. The hop subtlety, distinct malt character and rich caramel color of Pass Time Pale Ale work together to create a smooth, lightly carbonated ale.

Creamier than expected. Some sweetness, not too dry, and finishes with cleaner notes than I’d expect. One of the tastier pales I’ve tried: they didn’t try to wow me with the bittering hops. Wells done.

Bottled. Copper colour. A little sweeter than the APA’s I know, still good hop nose. Flavour is citrusy, little nutty, body is bit thin with a medium bitterness.

Bottle: Spare head on the pour. Amber color to the body, with a malty aroma present. I guess the descripion is right kept me company while watching the Steelers get waxed on thier home field.

Clear amber color with a modest light beige head. Same earthy/caramel/light fruit/blah, blah, blah... amber aroma. I know it says it’s an english pale ale, but sure smells like an amber. Mild earth and caramel flavors. OK, some english notes in the flavor. Really just ok.

Clear amber body with medium beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, earthy/floral, peach. Taste is medium sweet, floral, caramel, some orange, peach, light earthy. Light-medium body. A bit too sweet, but decent nonetheless.

Copper-hued beer with a thin white head. Caramel presides in the aroma. The flavor is heavily malty and cereal-based, with only the slightest tinge of any bitterness.

Bought this beer under the moniker boulder pale ale. I was expecting something a maybe a little hoppier, too much reliance on the carmally aroma of whatever makes it smell that way.

Dark golden, small bubbly head. Sweet buttery aroma of apticot, caramell and lemon. Soft flavour of lemon with hints of grapfruit and toffee. Mellow lemony aftertaste. A bit too thin.
