Commercial Description:
A perfect companion any way you pass time, this British-style pale ale is exceptionally soft and sweet compared with highly hopped American-style pale ales. The hop subtlety, distinct malt character and rich caramel color of Pass Time Pale Ale work together to create a smooth, lightly carbonated ale.

Coppery color and a white head. Light aroma. Metallic taste. Kind of fruity. Mostly malty. Kind of watery. Slight molasses in there. Kind of sweet. Not really anything good.

Fairly boring. Decent looking light amber. Honey, corn, undefined grain in the nose. Malty palate and surely lacking in hops, even by English Pale standards.

Sampled on 4/6/2009. This Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, orange and earthy. A medium bodied Pale Ale. This one is much more in the English style of Pale Ale, more malts than hops. The malts are caramel and semi-sweet. The hops are earthy and a touch floral. The carbonation could be a little more prevalent. Its not real hoppy or real malty, but a nice balance anyway. This would make a decent session ale. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Draft, Old Chicago, Fargo, ND, USA. Hazy amber, very little head, little aroma. Weak sweet flavor of caramel, honey with a sweet syrupy aftertaste.

Fruity malts, slight pine notes. Yellow amber, frothy medium head. Biscuit honey sweet, mild bitterness, nice balance. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, crisp malty finish with some slight hops. Nicely put together easy drinking Pale Ale.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with a white head. Some buttery malts, some light nuttiness with sweeter caramel and some mild earthy bitterness. A hint of citrus.

Crushed with Jakebra. Sweet nose with some hop backbone. Flavor is very smooth but not very hoppy. More sweet than anything. But not offensive and very drinkable.

Pours a crisp sorta dark amber with a 2 finger white head that has decent retention and fades to a skim. Aroma is caramel, planty hops, grain, toast and fruit. Flavor is biscuitt malt, pine hops, toast grain, pale malts, caramel, citrus, and straw. FInish is straw and bitter, planty hops.Slightly subpar EPA.
