Commercial Description:
A perfect companion any way you pass time, this British-style pale ale is exceptionally soft and sweet compared with highly hopped American-style pale ales. The hop subtlety, distinct malt character and rich caramel color of Pass Time Pale Ale work together to create a smooth, lightly carbonated ale.

Poured a clear amber color with a two finger white head. Aroma of caramel and hops. Flavor is very weak with malt and hops. Very thin beer with little flavor.

Clear amber pour with a medium foamy head that fades away. Sweet malty caramel aroma, with some citrus and pine hops. Flavor is mostly malt and light fruit, with the hops coming through on a lightly bitter finish. Not bad.

Poured from 12oz bottle amber with a beige head that quickly fades. Aroma is very light, picked out a bit of malt and floral hops. Flavor is almost as light, starts out with light malt that blends into a floral bitter hop.

Bottle brought back from Nashville. Pours a clear dark orange color with a quickly dissipating white head. Very floral aroma. Flavor is fruity with a little bit of citrus and a faint slightly bitter finish. A flavor that is slightly off here. A little buttery. Getting through all of that this is a different pale ale than what you would expect with a big dry hopped american stlye pale. I’m not taking points off for that but more for that fact that on its own this is still a thin and unexciting beer.

Bottle. Dark golden pour with a big off white head. Mild aroma, light malt and some floral hops. Flavor is about the same, light malt sweetness and some floral like bitterness that seems a little off. Ok, not great.

Draft at the brewpub. An amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of diacethyl and hops. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of diacethyl, leading to a dry bitter finish. Not good.

Bottle. Citrus and bread on top of the somewhat musty hops, English-like with an American twist. Pours a clear copper, the color of pennies, with a lacing, richly rocky and dense tanned head. Watery body with a nice little crisp hoppy bite, running into some caramel malt and spiced bread. Sessionable and very well balanced. Very faint bitterness, has some of the qualities of an Amber, along with light pleasing grass and even fainter lemon. Nice.

Bottle: Clear sopper color with a small off-white head. It has a lemony , sour aroma with a kind of soapy, musty flavor. It is an awful example of a pale ale. It leaves meither a sweet or bitter flavor in your mouth. In one word - yuck.
