| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 7, 2008 Golden-amber colour. Slightly herbal aroma with caramel, earth, wood undertones. Fairly uneventful, slightly metallic character. Vaguely caramelly taste. The body is somewhat light and there is hardly any bitterness. The thing with assuming a pale ale is British by virtue of it having no hops is that the end result tastes nothing like a British ale, just like a lame American one. argo0 (6974), Washington DC, USA
