| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 24, 2006 The aroma is heavy with chocolate and brown sugar, there is also yeast and cream in there as well. The appearance is dark brown with a medium tan head. The flavor has vegetables as well as coffee and burnt malt but almost no chocolate. The palate is smooth but not as thick as it should be. I am not crazy about this porter. Dorwart (1830), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA

Nice roasty aroma with some dark chocolate, roasted grains and a hint of mild coffee. Color is a very dark coffee brown. Thin watery body but has a decent amount of flavor. Bitter coffee, roasted grains and more bittersweeet chocolate. Slight chalky palate and pretty dry. An ok porter but pretty weak.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 14, 2006 Pour is jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is mild chocolate with some coffee in there. Flavor is so-so for a porter. Some coffee and chocolate show up but it is very subpar. Still this is decent for sipping on, not just the best i have ever had. Airlifter (116), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 14, 2006 Dark chocolate color. I found it highly carbonated, but others here have disagreed... Mildly bitter to start, ending with a nicely sweet aftertaste. Very smooth, very drinkable. BuckeyeBoy (1689), Boise, Idaho, USA
