Interesting khaki colored- head with an almost black body. Ruby tints appear when held to the light. Medium to full body. Rich sweet-ish malt and roastiness in the aroma. Flavor had chocolate notes, and a little coffe, but not very inspiring. steve23mj (273), Essexville, Michigan, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 8, 2006 The question is: Can you get this here on earth, or do you need to travel by space shuttle to get to the planet that serves this? Dark cola like color with a thin slightly fizzing head. Fairly strong aroma of coffee and molasses. Taste is heavier on the coffee as well, not as well balanced as some of the better porters I’ve had. A little dry on the finish as well. This is average, but no where near top notch. I like the initial mouthfeel, but the finish leaves me unsatisfied. Planet porter, recommended by only 2 out 5 astronomers. FoolishMortal (966), San Diego, California, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 1/5 | 12/20 | Dec 17, 2005 The aroma is one of a tootsie-roll in a smoke shop. The color is dark brown with a good thick bubbly head. The taste is a combination of dark malt, coffee, and smoke. After swallowing the taste turns metallic.
