Boulder Beer Poor Richards Ale

Draught. Head is fully diminishing. Body is muddy medium brown. Aroma is moderately malty (cereal, cookie, caramel, molasses), lightly hoppy (resin, flowers), with a note of diacetyl. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Rather unappealing/dull aroma of random malt & corn sugars, too sweet to really enjoy drinking...but then, I didn’t have any Poor Richards that I really can say I enjoyed...the recipe was pretty much doomed from the start.
