| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 21, 2008 Pours clear copper-amber with a one inch head from an agressive pour. Some lacings. Good aroma, some pine notes. Must be some Northwest hops.
Flavor is immediately bitter citrus hops with a fair amont of sweet malts. Hops rule here. Dry bitter finish. Seems a bit higher alcohol than the abv would indicate. A complex and intriguing brew. Might have to sample some more Boulder Brewing products. snook91901 (34), USA

Sweet-ish attractive aroma. Smell borders on the indicators of a strong alky ale. medium low bubbly ale-ish palate. Malt hoppy alky linger, bitter to an extent. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 23, 2008 Pours clear copper with a foamy light beige head. The aroma is typical for an amber ale, but roastier and has some nuttiness as well as light, but noticeable hops. Medium body with fairly sharp carbonation. The taste is not up to the aroma, but is still decent. It is mainly what’s on the aroma, but a bit watered down. Decent amber ale. hayduke (1687), Eureka, California, USA
