Pours clear copper-amber with a one inch head from an agressive pour. Some lacings. Good aroma, some pine notes. Must be some Northwest hops. Flavor is immediately bitter citrus hops with a fair amont of sweet malts. Hops rule here. Dry bitter finish. Seems a bit higher alcohol than the abv would indicate. A complex and intriguing brew. Might have to sample some more Boulder Brewing products.

A beer I pick up fairly often. Very unique. Aroma of sweet malts and sweet aroma hops such as cascades. Slightly lingering bitter aftertaste with metallic notes. Nice copper color.

Had at Rock Bottom in Minneapolis airport. Pours a clear copper color with a little bit of lacing. Caramel and toffee malt nose. A pretty solid malt flavor. Sweet caramel and a touch of bitter in the finish. Pretty thin, but a very drinkable beer.

Thank you Hopscotch for the sample!! Hazy and slightly darker than pale yellow. Sweet-ish attractive aroma. Smell borders on the indicators of a strong alky ale. medium low bubbly ale-ish palate. Malt hoppy alky linger, bitter to an extent.

Pours clear copper with a foamy light beige head. The aroma is typical for an amber ale, but roastier and has some nuttiness as well as light, but noticeable hops. Medium body with fairly sharp carbonation. The taste is not up to the aroma, but is still decent. It is mainly what’s on the aroma, but a bit watered down. Decent amber ale.

From a 12 oz bottle this poured a rich and clear copper with small white head and light lacing. Nose of hops and malts, and very typical for an amber. Mouthfeel rich and smooth. Finish slightly bitter. Quite decent for an amber.
