Aroma is sweet. Taste is fresh and crisp. Starting with a light body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish is a nice malt flavor back by a spicy hop flavor. Headbanger (1598), Aurora, Illinois, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 11, 2007 Pours a slightly clouded deep gold with an amber hue. Head is minimal and goes away quickly. Nose is sweet with a hop influence. Flavor is fairly robust. Thick hop that stays balanced and leaves a good taste on your tongue. After it all fades away, you are left with a strong hop aftertaste in the back of your mouth, though it did seem to have a slight metalic taste. Feel is thick and smooth. Very drinkable and definitely worth having more than one of if that is what you are aiming for. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

clear copper, fine off white head, streaks of drippy lace,
light malt aroma with light astrengent bitterness,
sweet malt flavor, nice bready biscuit character, light earthy bitterness, the bitterness eventually catches up and takes over and dries it out a bit too much,

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 27, 2007 The logo on the bottle is funny. Another Colorado brewer going for the Fat Tire kind of look. Same style, similar label. With that being said, this beer had a light sweet malty aroma. It poured copper/amber with a nice frothy head. Flavor was a nice light clean hoppy bitterness with a little bit of caramel malt backbone and some light metal. As it warmed it became a little fruity too. A nice light and refreshing amber ale.
