I really don’t believe that this is the same beer as Singletrack Copper at Rock Bottom ... but maybe. Haven’t found too many mistakes on Ratebeer yet. Cloudy copper, no head, good lacing. Nose of sweet malts and European floral hops. Taste of sweet malts and American hops. Average mouth. Simple drinkable American red. Nothing special. kyzr (1123), Belgrade, Montana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 9, 2007 Light amber pour with decent off-white head. Malty and caramel nose with just a touch of hops. Flavor is the same, more malty up front with a hint of bitterness from the hops on the tail end of the finish. grimreeser (797), Minnesota, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 31, 2007 Pours a clear amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. The nose is pretty muted with bready, caramel malts and faint earthy hops. Light to medium-bodied and metallic in the mouthfeel, it finishes lightly bitter and dry. Slightly nutty, effervescent caramel malts with a light earthy hop back and a distinctively dry and somewhat metallic finish. Perhaps the name "Copper Ale" refers to the flavor. If the metallic flavor could be removed, it would make a great session beer. As is, it’s nothing to seek out. GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 27, 2007 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear orange color. Head was thick, off white, and left some lace behind. Aroma was of subdued malty caramel, light citrusy hops, copper tubing, and toffee. The toffee aroma strengthened as the beer warmed a bit. Sweet on the tongue with a light citrusy note. Spicy malt, toffee, and caramel rounded out the flavors. Not bad. kimcgolf (832), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 22, 2007 This poured from the bottle to a nice amber color with thin off-white head that lingered awhile, then left a thin cap on top, with no lacing. Nose is somewhat stale hops, mixed with fruit and floral notes. Mouthfeel is slightly tingly, and the flavor is a nice caramel-hoppy fruit mix. Finish is of medium duration, and leans on the side of being catramel sweet with a hint of alcohol. Not a bad beer, just nothing special. Beerlando (2337), Orlando, Florida, USA

Nice malty, hoppy, bitter smell. Flavor is essentially the same. Nothing special, just an easy drinking beer. auderale (572), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA
