a nice well balanced ale. kind of in the vein of an esb. a slight tinge of skunk, but not enough to take away from this smooth session ale

12oz bottle pours amber with a short white head. Aroma is light citrus, grapefruit and orange. Flavor is a nice blend of orange citrus and caramel malts. Palate is medium bodied and fairly smooth to drink. This could easily be another good session...

Light amber with slight lace. Low carbonation. Nice malt with good amount of pine in the aroma- kinda like Northern Brewer. Medium hop bitterness in the flavor but well balanced and a good finish.

Fairly floral, orange citrus hop nose with sweet underlying caramle malts. Clear copper coloured body is topped by a low but lasting white head that recedes slowly to a partial cover with some lace. Sweet caramel malt flavour with some orange-citrus hops and light finishing bitterness. Mildy husky and grainy especially in the aftertaste. Medium light body with moderate carbonation but somewhat sticky in texture. Sampled on tap at Rock Bottom Denver with Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere.

Bottle: Clear pale amber body with a small quickly fading white head. The aroma is pale malt, bread, light fruit, and very mild hops. The taste is sweet, showing notes of sweet light malts, slightly acidic caramel, apple, and lightly bitter hops. Light bodied, mild-medium carbonation, finishes lightly bitter with hints of grain.

Draft with an average sized off-white head with good lacing. Nice looking clear light amber color. Sweet taste with a hint of honey and berries.

The bottle poured a sparkling clear medium amber colored beverage. It had a medium sized frothy off-white head that was mostly dissipating leaving some lacing on the glass. The aroma was dominated by sweet caramel malt with some notes of bread. It had a light to medium body with soft carbonation and a watery texture. The flavor started off quite sweet. As it matured on the palate it became more bitter and the sweetness subsided. The finish was average in length.

Draft. Poured a hazy copper color with a frothy smallish off-white head that quickly diminished. Did not pick up much of an aroma other than some grain and perhaps a light floral. Tasted of caramel, malt and some grain with a very light hop. Finish was mostly sweet. The body and texture was light to medium and watery. Not bad but I wouldn’t go out of my way too drink one.
