| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 1, 2005 Bottle--Small head with a dark gold color. Lacing stayed with the drink throughout. Slight caramel favor with no bitterness at all. Gotta go with the other comments that it’s very drinkable. Good stuff. 1.49 Pettys Cornfield (4972), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 5, 2005 The label on my bottle reads "Rockies Brewery Singletrack Copper Ale." It’s a pale copper color with a minimalist’s head. The aroma is old damp bread (like in grade school science projects) with a bit of plum and a touch of earthy hops. The flavor is a weak caramel malt with some dirty tasting hops. The finish is an earthy hop bitterness. It’s hard to tell what the brewer is trying to do here.

Weak, copper-colored with an off-white small and fading head. Aromas held a hint of butter that led to weak malts... white bread and sweet cream with stale hops. Butteriness continued in the mouthfeel/flavor with a lightly bitter and spicy ending. Crisp and creamy with a medium body. The "butter" thing made it feel off, although I feel it was intentional and not a faux pas.
