Draft: Straw colored pour with long living head. Aroma is quite subdued. Sweet caramel tastes work great with the nutty finish. Creamy mouthfeel ensures a great drinkability.

Bottle. Light amber with a full white head that leaves lots of nice lacing. Very pretty in the glass. Light on the hops. Slightly raisony and fruity taste. Mild and very drinkable.

First big dissapointment in my Beer of the Month club in a while. Somewhat watery body, decently hopped, but river water tasting in the finish.

Purchased in a bottle in Wichita. The body is a light amber with no head. The strange aroma is carrots, ginger and toast. The taste has a light toast. There are also peanuts with a salty finish. There is a metallic hint here.

[Tap at Rock Bottom, Denver] A pale amber beer with a fine collapsing though lazing head. The aroma is slightly hoppy, while the flavor has an off-taste from a weird hop and a dry end.

Medium amber color and off-white head with full lacing. Aroma is nice but full of intrigue: malty, grassy, and with a bit of skunk -- NOT the normal "beer-skunk" but rather a faint trace as if an _actual_ skunk has been in the area recently! Unfortunately the flavor shows little such complexity -- it’s pretty much simple, flat malt delivered with a few hops on a sparse palate. But the weak mouthfeel is partially saved by a bit of lively small carbonation in the finish.

Bottle into pint glass. Insanely drinkable. Not challenging at all. One for the masses, but solid. Copper in the glass with a yellow tan frothy head that was fairly large, retains a thin but noticable dusting. Very little aroma, but hints of citrusy hops and caramel malt. Very malty up front, smooth, but no discernable character. Hops come in citrusy to start the abortive finish, but no real bitterness to speak of. If I could brew something like this as my house brew for like $0.20 a bottle, I’d be happy with myself. I expect commercial stuff to taste better than mediocre homebrew, however, knowing that these guys can make good beer (Mojo).

english pint / active, slightly clear amber body with orange highlight. thick and soapy white head that lingers. fair lacing. aroma and flavor isn’t anything to write home about; very subtle; superficial... anyway, it’s a bit refreshing and just about easy to drink--slightly chewy palate.
